So sieht der »Spuk im Hochhaus« auf der Landesgartenschau aus

Noch den ganzen Sommer über können die Besucher*innen der Landesgartenschau in Leinefelde-Worbis im sogenannten »Blumenblock« Kunst aus der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar sehen. Im dritten Obergeschoss des leergezogenen Plattenbaus untersuchen zehn Studierende der Freien Kunst die Spuren ehemaliger Bewohner*innen und fragen nach Formen des Wohnens, Erinnerns und Zusammenlebens. Hier können Sie durch die Linse des Visuelle-Kommunikation-Studenten Richard Schött einen Blick in die Ausstellung werfen.

Open Call: Sonic Tuesdays — Student Program, Summer Semester 2026

Sonic Tuesdays is an ongoing evening series hosted jointly by the professorships of Acoustic Ecologies and Sound Studies and Experimental Radio — a regular gathering point for listening, performing, presenting, and thinking together through sound. This summer semester, we open two Sonic Tuesdays evenings to student contributions: Tuesday, 23 June 2026 and Tuesday, 7 July 2026. Please submit your proposals by 4 June 2026.

Bauhaus Bühne gastiert in der Sendehalle Weimar

Die Bauhaus Bühne lädt zur dritten Aufführung – und erstmals zu einer interdisziplinären Produktion ein: Studierende der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar und der Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT kommen gemeinsam am Samstag, 27. Juni 2026, in der Sendehalle Weimar auf die Bühne und verbinden Bühnenbild, Kostüm, Sound und Performance zu einem Gesamtkunstwerk im Geist des historischen Bauhauses.

»Black in Thüringen« – Photography Exhibition by Yero Adugna Eticha in the University Library

Starting on 4 June 2026, photographer Yero Adugna Eticha’s »Black in Thüringen« exhibition will be on display in the University Library. Approximately 20 black and white portraits make up the exhibition and feature Black people who like, study, or work in Thuringia. Through his work, Adugna Eticha opens new perspectives on visibility, belonging, and social participation.

WILD WEAK ELECTRONICS: Discover Experimental Solar Installations at Mensa am Park

Until Monday, 12 May 2026, visitors to Mensa am Park can experience the exhibition »WILD WEAK ELECTRONICS«. Developed in the workshop of the same name at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, the installation combines hand-built circuits and electromechanical elements that react to changing light conditions.
