The MFA Program is conceived as an internationally oriented course of studies. The course language is English. The offering is directed toward foreigners, as well as toward German art school alumni.
In order to guarantee international study exchanges, close cooperation is planned with foreign partner-universities. For the students, the distinctive feature of the mfa Program lies not only in the chance for further education, but also in the experience of different systems of study. Most importantly, the course of studies offers the possibility to learn about different cultures and perceptions of public space.
International cooperation is a priority of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. This is evident in the number of foreign professors, employees and guest lecturers present, as well as in the number of foreign students.
