BAUHAUS GOES SOUTH-EAST EUROPE 2013

The publication was released on the occasion of the project »BAUHAUS GOES SOUTH-EAST EUROPE«. The project, funded by the DAAD since 2013, was realized by the MFA programme “Public Art and New Artistic Strategies”, a faculty of art and design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Also in cooperation with universities from three countries in South-East Europe: [add university names here?]. The project sees itself as a pioneer for innovative forms of teaching of public art. The book documents and investigates the results of artistic research during a residence in Mostar and an exhibition in Sarajevo in 2013. It includes numerous images and descriptions of works created by students and academic texts developed in the framework of the projects in Mostar and Sarajevo.

The book was overseen and edited by junior academics and curators: Anja Bogojević and Amila Puzić. Design by graphic designer Mela Žuljević from Bosnia-Herzegovina

Publishers are Professor Danica Dakić of the Master's degree programme, artistic assistants Anke Hannemann and Lisa Glauer and project coordinator Jirka Reichmann.

»TRACING THE PUBLIC« was released in the Bauhaus-University’s publisher Bauhaus-Universitätsverlag Weimar.
