June 2023: Disruption? Repair? Performance of CLORPT Choir and installation of Soilkin meme-flags at exhibition on occasion of the 6th Nordic STS Conference in Oslo, curated by Nora Sørensen Vaage of NOBA: Norwegian Bioart Arena. Exhibiting artists: Serina Tarkhanian, Sigrid Espelien Randi Nygård & Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel and Zane Cerpina & Stahl Stenslie.

 

July – September 2022: We are Compost /// Composting the We. Concept and co-curation of exhibition at the Centre for Contemporary Art Glasgow on occasion of the 22nd World Congress of Soil Science from July 31 – August 5, 2022 in Glasgow, UK. Exhibiting artists: Asad Raza, Desiree Coral and Alexandra Toland.

 

June 2022: Spooky Actions at a Distance. Facilitation and curatorial consultation of exhibitions at Kunsthaus Erfurt, Galerie Eigenheim and ACC Galerie with artists of the PhD Program in Art in Design, on occasion of the 13th International Conference on Artistic Research from June 30 – July 3, 2022 in Weimar, Germany.

 

Summer 2021: Becoming Lichen scores and exercises by Alex Toland, Harriet von Froreich, and Be Körner, artistic development for the article, Signposting the Anthropocene – Air Care, Poleotolerance, and the Queering of Ecosystem Services (Journal of Performance Research, 2022)

 

April 2020: Dust Blooms solo exhibition at the Botanical Garten Linz. Installed by curator Fritz Schwarz and then cancelled because of the Corona lockdown in Austria.

 

September 2019: Ars Electronica Shared Habitats exhibition at the Kunst Universität Linz,

curated by Prof. Ursula Damm and Dr. Theresa Schubert

 

April 2019 – April 2020: The Unbearable Heaviness of Dust. Installation, Film and Publication for the exhibition, Plants – On Human Nature, at the German Hygiene Museum Dresden.

 

July 2018: Dust Blooms Excerpts. Installation at “Stories for a more-than-human world” Kesselhaus Berlin, curated by Theresa Schubert.

 

September 2017: Dust Blooms. Installation at Cyberarts Exhibition, OK Center for Contemporary Art,

Prix Ars Electronica, Linz.

 

June 2016 – October 2016: Dust Blooms. Artistic ecology research and exhibition project on the dust filtration capacity of urban roadside plants for the exhibition, Lasst Blumen Sprechen, at Museum Schloß Moyland.

 

September 2015: Feather and Corn. Objects and map of Important Bird Areas (IBAs) at the exhibition, “Natural Affairs” at Quadrat Dornbirn, Austria, in collaboration with Myriel Milićević.

 

March 2014: Mapping the Urban Grind Mill. Research installation on Soil Sealing in Berlin for the exhibition “Macro-biologies I” at the Art Laboratory Berlin.

 

June 2014: Dirt Dialogues – An Integrated Art Exhibition and Film Program at the 20th World Congress of Soil Science, Jeju, Korea, with Gerd Wessolek and the International Union of Soil Sciences.

 

November 2012: Grounded – A Festival of Films for the First Global Soil Week. Curation of film festival about soil protection issues at Kino Arsenal in collaboration with the IASS Potsdam and European Commission JRC, Berlin.

 

July 2012: Edible Geographies – Mapping the Foodscape. Collaborative map and workshop with Nicola Twilley for the Guggenheim Labs Summer Program 2012 in Pfefferberg, Berlin.

 

September 2010: Wishgarden – Flooded Harvest. Participatory research workshop and public performance, in collaboration with Ana Malalan for MOTA Museum of Transitory Art, Ljubljana.

 

September 2010: Spatial analysis of WWII rubble deposition in Berlin, under consideration of sulfate leaching, recreational quality and collective memory. Research installation at the Pro Helvetia Swiss Arts Council’s Science Meets Art Workshop in the Altes Museum Neukölln, Berlin.

 

August 2010: Wunschgarten – Wild Urban Offshoots. Creative workshop, walking tour and research installation in collaboration with Myriel Milićević as part of the Artists in Dialog Series at the Art Laboratory, Berlin.

 

June 2010: Microturf – an exploration of urban wilderness. Urban nature field exercise and book sprint with Myriel Milićević, Jon Cohrs and Morgan Levy in Berlin.

 

August 2009: Personal Distribution Mechanisms. Walking tour focusing on distribution mechanisms of plants and people along the River Panke and interactive map of Berlin Waterways at the Art Laboratory, Berlin.

 

June - November 2006 – 2008: Gallery of Weeds (Galerie der Wildkräuter), Nature trail and movable signage about the spontaneous vegetation growing on the former inner-city train depot Gleisdreieck, with funding support from the Stiftung Naturschutz Berlin, the grassroots citizen group Bürgerinitiativ Gleisdreieck, and the TU-Berlin.

 

March 2008: Preferential Flow, solo exhibition of soil art, videos and hydrological markings at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture - Taliesin West, Scottsdale, Arizona, USA.

 

September 2006: Plantago portraits, Installation of botanical objects and audio portraits of the roadside species, Plantago spec. Land Schaf(f)t Kunst, Exhibition of Berliner artists in Neuwerder, Brandenburg; curated by Ulrike Hogrebe and Art-Berlin.

 

July 2006: Banality of Green (Banalität des Grüns), solo exhibition as part of the exhibition series on “art and natural science” in Galerie 35, Berlin, Germany.

 

November 2005: Break Festival - New Species. exhibition of botanical sculptures at Break Symposium of Contemporary Arts, Botanical Garden Ljubljana, Slovenia.

 

Maitres des Lieux, May 2004: Exhibition of Word Gardens “a living letter to the city” at the Maitres des Lieux Symposium for Contemporary Arts in St. Lo, France.
