On 24 and 25 September 2026, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will host the TURN Conference 2026 under the theme »Experiential TURN – Spaces of Experience for Sustainable Learning«. To accompany this, an exhibition will bring student work to life and showcase how students at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar think, design, build, programme and conduct research.
Whether it’s a model, prototype, artwork, material sample or poster – secure funding for your exhibition idea and present your exhibit as part of the TURN accompanying exhibition to a national conference audience. Projects and exhibition ideas that you develop or present as part of summaery can also be submitted for the TURN conference and further developed or adapted for the conference context.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from all faculties at Bauhaus University Weimar are eligible to take part in the Call for Exhibition. Each person may submit one exhibition idea or one exhibit.
To be eligible for funding, participants must be present in Weimar to set up, supervise and dismantle the exhibit from 23 to 25 September 2026.
The exhibition aims to showcase the diverse disciplines and approaches at our university. Exhibition ideas and exhibits could include:
Models, objects or artworks
Prototypes or material samples
Media-based and interactive works (video, audio, XR, digital formats)
spatial interventions and installations
hybrid or experimental formats
posters and visualisations
books, brochures and documentation
Funding is available for the development of an idea, the creation of an exhibit and its presentation at the TURN Conference 2026:
