This year, the TURN Conference 2026 will take place at the Bauhaus University Weimar. TURN26 is aimed at education enthusiasts from the DACH region who want to not only discuss higher education, but also shape it – in a transdisciplinary, cooperative and international way. Teachers and students from various disciplines and types of higher education institutions, teaching assistants, university administrators, representatives of higher education research and higher education policy, as well as social actors and practice partners are cordially invited.
TURN26 in Weimar invites the entire German higher education landscape to experience scenographies of learning that connect the head, heart and senses. With a consistent focus on learning experience design, the conference brings project-based, transformative teaching formats, bold didactics and inspiring learning environments to life and shows how students can become co-creators of education.

Help shape the future of higher education!
In September 2026, Bauhaus University will host the TURN Conference – one of the largest conferences on innovative teaching in the German-speaking world. We are looking for student reviewers to help decide which contributions make it into the programme.
What's in it for you? You'll be able to contribute your student perspective directly and show what we think makes good teaching. You'll gain insights into forward-looking teaching and learning formats and get to know other students and teachers who are committed to improving higher education. You'll strengthen the student voice in higher education – because who knows better what works than us?
Period: March–April 2026
Scope: approx. 20 hours/month
Remuneration: paid – so that everyone can participate
