The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar awards scholarships and funding of varying duration to early stage researchers on a regular basis. The Bauhaus Research School provides advice on the wide range of funding options to support doctoral candidates and Post-Docs of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Annually, several calls for applications are published at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar for young researchers, artists and designers in autumn.
In addition, a wide range of funding institutions provide scholarships for young researchers, for example the 13 organizations for the promotion of young talent, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Other scholarship donors can be found via scholarship databases.
Up to 2 scholarships for doctoral candidates by the Ernst-Abbe-Stiftung. The Presidium decides on the selection of the applications based on the quality; up to two excellent applications can be submitted per university. The scholarship covers 2 years, 1.200 € per month and is open for projects from all research fields.
