Thuringia’s Minister of Science visits the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
Joined by the Presidential Board and other representatives from the university, the programme will include the Gropius Room and its digital reconstruction in the Digital Bauhaus Lab, where Minister Tischner will be shown the »Imaginamics« Cluster of Excellence, a project that recently received funding from the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments.
In the hybrid learning lab, innovative concepts for future-focussed teaching and learning concepts, as well as projects on sustainable mobility planning and resource-saving construction will be presented, demonstrating how research is being translated into practical solutions for key future issues. Experimental approaches in the field of creative robotics and current issues in design theory will be presented in the Design Lab.
At the end of the two-hour visit, an exchange is scheduled to take place in M18 Haus der Studierenden, where instructors and students will offer insights into the teacher degree programmes at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
