NEW@BAUHAUS: Welcome for New Employees at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
On 3 December, the new staff at the University were welcomed as part of the NEW@BAUHAUS programme. The event, which is held twice a year, offers newly hired colleagues the chance to network with one another and learn about the important aspects of everyday life at the University.
The event focussed once again on sharing initial experiences during the onboarding phase and providing feedback on processes and support requirements. This allows the perspectives of new employees to be directly incorporated into the further development of existing structures.
»Our goal is to provide colleagues with a smooth start and, at the same time, to gain valuable insights into how we can further develop our onboarding processes through their feedback«, says Dr. Carolin Wick, Director of Personnel Development and Health Management.
A highlight at this year’s winter event was a campus tour led by Ronny Schüler from the University Strategic Development Office. He guided attendees through important areas on campus.
NEW@BAUHAUS is organised and coordinated by the Personnel Development and Health Management Departments of Human Resources.
