Innovators Homecoming 2025: New Event Format for Start-Ups and Innovation at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
Save the date: On 14 November 2025, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be hosting the Innovators Homecoming event for the first time. The event unites individuals who deal with questions on founding, innovating, and shaping society. It also presents potential career paths after graduation.
The event focusses on the personal experiences and perspectives of alumni who understand innovation as not just a technological process, but also a cultural and social one. In addition to TED-style keynote speeches from outstanding alumni, there will also be opportunities for discussion and networking.
Guests can look forward to contributions from:
Paul Foeckler, co-founder of Mendeley and Blueberg AI
Gesa Hansen, designer and founder of The Hansen Family
Jens Wille, Managing Director of Ubilabs
Dr. Nathalie Jean-Baptiste, CEO of the Julius Baer Foundation
With the Innovators Homecoming, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is showcasing how innovative start-up projects can develop from ideas that emerge during or after studies and how the impact of these projects reaches far beyond campus.
