Project description
Museums try to provide their visitors with an interactive and immersive experience to convey information about a particular topic. Audio guides can provide an in-depth experience but are typically not interactive. This project aims to develop an interactive audio guide that allows visitors to ask questions and thus customize their experience to their interests.
Specifically, we are designing and developing a system for Walter Gropius's office, with its colorful history, groundbreaking design, and overall importance to the Bauhaus style. We show how facts and descriptions in our "knowledge base" are transformed into answers to various questions a visitor might ask.
