Members of a university have the right to participate in the university’s decision-making process. This opportunity is provided through self-administration and its committees. Professors, students, academic and non-academic personnel are recognised as groups belonging to the university which have the right – and responsibility – to participate in the self-administration of the university. Each group elects representatives to serve two-year terms, with the exception of students whose representatives are elected for one-year terms. All the groups are equitably represented at the committee level.
