Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: Coaching

The Bauhaus Research School offers personalised coaching for doctoral candidates, postdocs, and junior professors in 2026 to help navigate special situations. This service is designed to assist you in reflecting on and overcoming specific challenges during your academic journey—whether those challenges are related to language, writing, individual career development, or managing stress.

Please indicate your specific concerns in the registration form so that we can match you with the appropriate coach. If needed, we can also arrange a preliminary meeting to discuss your specific requirements in detail.

Self-management in everyday doctoral and research work

Navigating hierarchies and informal networks within the academic environment.

How it works

To register for a coaching session, please fill out the online form.
Your participation in coaching sessions will be documented by both you and the coach.
Each person can participate in a maximum of three coaching sessions, each lasting between 45 and 60 minutes.
Coaching sessions are available in both German and English.
Most coaching sessions will be conducted online; however, face-to-face meetings may be possible in certain circumstances.
All coaching sessions must be completed by the end of 2026.
