At the general meeting on February 23, 2026, Dr. Christiane Wolf (President), Dr. Katrin Richter (Vice President), Prof. Dr.-Ing. (em.) Hans-Joachim Bargstädt (Secretary), and Thomas Apel (Treasurer) were re-elected to the board of the Friends of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar e. V.
The publication “Das Haus Am Horn. An Experimental Bauhaus Building Turns 100: The Construction and History of Use of the UNESCO World Heritage Site” will be published by Sandstein Verlag Dresden. Edited by Michael Siebenbrodt, Christiane Wolf, and the Friends of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar e.V., it brings together essays on the only building erected by the State Bauhaus in Weimar in 1923. In 1996, it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other Bauhaus buildings in Weimar and Dessau. Shortly thereafter, the Friends of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar took over the building, organized its restoration in accordance with historic preservation standards, and transformed it into a meeting place for Bauhaus enthusiasts from around the world.
