Travel outside Europe for the purpose of initiating and maintaining partnerships, can be supported through the International Cooperation fund. Grants are also awarded for stays at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar by visiting scholars from abroad.
As part of the DAAD PROMOS programme, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar awards scholarships for stays abroad lasting up to 6 months. The scholarships are aimed at students whose projects abroad are not eligible for funds under any other funding programme (e.g. ERASMUS or other DAAD programme).
