We are available to support you in developing your intercultural skills and gaining experience abroad and will be glad to advise you on the various options and their financial support.
Foreign language course
An English language course abroad is an effective way to deepen your language skills and break down speaking inhibitions. We recommend a stay in an English-speaking country for 2 weeks, funded by ERASMUS+. Here you will find providers with whom we have already had good experiences.
If there is an urgent connection to the workplace, courses in other languages can also be funded.
Staff Exchange Week
These international continuing education weeks offer the opportunity to get to know a university abroad better and at the same time to exchange professional and personal experiences with other international colleagues. The universities offer a fixed programme on specific topics/areas, so that your own planning effort is minimal.
The constantly updated offer of Staff Training Weeks can be found here on the website of the European Union.
Work Shadowing
An individually organised visit to a university abroad requires some preparation, but promises to be highly effective and enriching. Select specifically the institutions, areas, contact persons or even best practice projects that could be interesting and inspiring for your work and suggest an exchange of experiences, a job shadowing or even the presentation of your own projects/materials.
The International Office will be happy to support you with existing contacts or ideas for initial contact.
