Preliminary report at the Oldenburg BIM Days

The Chair of Construction Management and Construction Processes presented an intermediate report on the research project "Cost-benefit analysis on the use of BIM in building construction" at the Oldenburg BIM Day 2024.

This year, the 10th Oldenburg BIM Days and the 21st Oldenburg 3D Days took place between 31 January and 1 February 2024 at the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Oldenburg.

The chair was represented by Martina Mellenthin Filardo and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Melzner, who reported on the interim status of the current research project Cost-Benefit Analysis on the Use of BIM in Building Construction: Comparative Case Study to Determine and Evaluate the Benefits of BIM Planning Processes in their very well-attended lecture. The project is being carried out together with Alfen Consult GmbH and iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH until the end of 2024.
