TV report on "StrohGold"
In an episode of MDR Thüringen Journal on 16 January 2026, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk provided an insight into the ‘StrohGold – Development of a load-bearing lightweight straw construction method’ project and the use of straw blocks in building.
Under the title “Bauhaus University Weimar develops new building material”, Dr. Katrin Linne from the Chair of Structural Design and Structural Engineering presented the research project “StrohGold – Development of a load-bearing lightweight straw construction method” on the MDR Thüringen Journal on 16 January 2026.
