Four patent applications from the Professorship of Structural Design and Structural Engineering were on display at the iENA – Ideas, Inventions, Innovations 2025 trade fair, held from 1 to 3 November 2025 at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, on the stand of the Thuringian Universities’ Patent Management. All four inventions were also awarded prizes: the “Agro-Mineral Construction Method” and the “Agro-Forestry Construction Method” each received a silver medal, whilst “Microwave Straw” and “Masonry Method – Process for Producing a Masonry Composite” each received a gold medal, all in the University category.
