NEB.Regional Labs

The aim of the NEB.Regional Lab funding line is to promote flexible and transferable concepts for teaching and learning with and within the region. To this end, the university is joining forces with regional partners to jointly create an experimental space and develop ideas for the revitalisation, re-use and/or conversion of vacant locations. This format is supported by the LeerGut-Agenten, the Thuringian network for the revitalisation of vacant spaces.

The project ideas are to be integrated into an interdisciplinary teaching concept that places special emphasis on interaction with the social environment of the regional lab and the activation of local knowledge, skills and resources. In order to promote particularly sustainable and inclusive project ideas, the application of the NEB Compass of the EU initiative "New European Bauhaus" is required.
