The Bauhaus Research School was established to provide supportive research conditions for doctoral projects, both individual as well within doctoral programmes. As a university and art school, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar attempts to cross borders between research cultures in engineering, the humanities and art & design.
The Assembly of Members enables all members of the Bauhaus Research School to participate actively in determining the aims of the Research School.
The Directorate decides all fundamental matters of the Bauhaus Research School. It consists of the director, the deputy director, spokespersons for the doctoral programmes and doctoral and post-doctoral student representatives. The members of the Directorate.
