- Admissions deadline (winter semester): 15 July
- Admissions deadline (summer semester): 15 January
!Please bear in mind that, when you apply at uni-assist, you are required to upload a Bachelor's thesis or some other academic paper of your own. Without such a document, your application will not be processed. If the document is written in a language other than English or German, please upload an additional abstract of at least four pages.
We will use the document to evaluate your ability to perform independent academic work, which will be the key criterion for accepting your application.!
Applicants who graduated in Europe and do not require a visa apply online at: Online-Application.
- Admissions deadline (winter semester): 30 September
- Admissions deadline (summer semester): 31 March
Admission requires a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, media informatics, media technology or a related field with a strong focus on computer science. Bachelor degrees in electrical engineering, physics or mathematics may be eligble if you took a significant number of core computer science courses during your studies. If the converted credit-weighted average grade of your Bachelor's degree is at least 2.0 in the German system, your chances of acceptance are very good.
We recommend that you acquire some basic German before you come to Weimar, although no official certificates of German language exams are required.
