Using green hydrogen for heating – regional workshop in Apolda
On the 29th of June 2022 the h2-well network organised a workshop on the "Potentials of green hydrogen technologies for heat supply".
In view of the current developments in the energy market, alternative technologies for provision of space and process heat are becoming increasingly important. Accordingly, the aim of the workshop was to exchange ideas with a local expert audience on the possibilities of hydrogen technologies in heat supply for substituting natural gas and heating oil. Following the presentations given by the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and the Kyros Hydrogen Solutions GmbH, the 25 participants from local companies and institutions discussed what could be done in Apolda to advance the use of hydrogen technologies.
