The research teams in Urban Energy Systems and Building Chemistry and Polymer Materials secured start-up funding from the university for developing a grant application regarding the development of sustainable construction materials for thermal insulation of buildings in Bhutan. This grant application will build on the current scoping study project SusTherm with the partners from the Ministry of Works and Human Settlement (MoWHS) in Thimphu, Bhutan.
