presentation of research project results @ BAU 2025 trade fair in Munich
The Chair of Construction Engineering and Management worked on the project Cost-Benefit Analysis for the Use of BIM in Building Construction - Comparative Case Study to Determine and Evaluate the Benefits of BIM Planning Processes in a consortium with Alfen Consult GmbH and iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH. The project was commissioned by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR) at the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) between 01.01.2023 and 31.10.2024.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Melzner presented the results of the study at this year's BAU trade fair in Munich.
