As part of the project “Isomorphic drafting of building regulations as human and machine-readable rules,” the process of creating or amending regulations in the construction industry was recorded and compared internationally on the basis of expert interviews. The studies examine how machine-readable and natural language versions can be created in parallel to enable automated and objective building permit review.
