As part of summaery, the university radio station »bauhaus.fm« will broadcast a special program titled FLURFUNK from July 6 to 11, 2026. The program is dedicated to politics »in the hallways« and to radio as a medium of resistance and connection. A variety of voices from within and outside the university will be featured: on 106.6 MHz via bauhaus.fm as well as through radios installed in the university buildings. At the heart of the event is an open studio in the courtyard of M18. The program includes DJ sets, themed shows, conversations with guests, and performative interventions.
The FLURFUNK project module explores radio as a space between control and collective empowerment. Drawing on historical and contemporary examples, the project focuses on alternative and experimental forms of broadcasting. Topics include more-than-human communication, radio in times of war and peace, pirate radio, and sonic feminism—and the question of what kinds of media we will need in the future.
The ALLEZUSUMMAERY project module is an attempt to highlight what unites us—the diversity and differences that make the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar a vibrant and social entity: people from both the center and the periphery come together.
In the KUMMERKASTEN, people can voice their concerns, wishes, and criticisms via an online form or by speaking into a microphone at the installation site. The submissions are anonymized and discussed with students and staff at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
