The reason for the welcome party was the teaching prize and the 500 Euros prize money for the course "Climate and Meteorology" of the Chair of Energy Systems. During the award ceremony at the end of the summer semester 2023, the idea for a welcome party was born. The festival allowed students to exchange ideas between semesters over beer, bratwurst and grilled cheese and to talk to the lecturers. At the same time, the new students in the Bachelor's and Master's programs were given a fitting welcome. The party was well received and will certainly not have been the last.
