Hydrogen drone functional testing
On June 28/29th, 2023, the final functional tests of the helicopter drone with hydrogen hybrid propulsion developed in the research project FlyHy took place.
The project team brought together all components of the hydrogen drone at the project partner edm aerotec GmbH in Geisleden and tested them for functionality. The hydrogen supply projected at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar was also implemented and tested. All components worked. The drone is now fully prepared for a maiden flight.
