On November 29th, 2023, the students of the course "Urban technology - Energy" visited the CHP plant in Weimar Schöndorf.

On 28 November 2023, M.Sc. students on the Energy System Modelling and Simulation module visited an operating electrolyser on the Hörmann KG site in Ichtershausen near Erfurt.

On 16 November 2023 a meeting of the project partners in the h2well research project h2well-compact took place in Apolda.

The 6th ExInno conference on "H2 safety: hydrogen as an energy carrier - a technical challenge" took place from 8 to 9 November, at which the h2well-compact project was presented, as well as other topics.

On November 1, 2023, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk broadcast a report under the title "H2-Power from the province" looking at the activities in the field of hydrogen technologies in Thuringia. The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar was also part of this film.

On October 18, 2023, a welcome party for all environmental engineering students was held for the first time in the courtyard of Coudraystr. 10 to kick off the new semester.

On August 30, 2023, an artice on the helicopter drone developed as part of the FlyHy research project was broadcast in the MDR Thüringen Journal.

On August 24, 2023, the 4th meeting of the Thuringian Alliance for Hydrogen in Industry (ThAWI) took place in Erfurt. Among other contributions the outcomes of h2-well strategy workshop were reported.

On July 15th, 2023, Prof. Dr. Mark Jentsch received the 2023 Teaching Award from the students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

On June 28/29th, 2023, the final functional tests of the helicopter drone with hydrogen hybrid propulsion developed in the research project FlyHy took place.
