On August 30, 2023, an artice on the helicopter drone developed as part of the FlyHy research project was broadcast in the MDR Thüringen Journal.

On August 24, 2023, the 4th meeting of the Thuringian Alliance for Hydrogen in Industry (ThAWI) took place in Erfurt. Among other contributions the outcomes of h2-well strategy workshop were reported.

On July 15th, 2023, Prof. Dr. Mark Jentsch received the 2023 Teaching Award from the students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

On June 28/29th, 2023, the final functional tests of the helicopter drone with hydrogen hybrid propulsion developed in the research project FlyHy took place.

On June 29th, 2023, Saskia Wagner presented the FlyHy project at InnoCON 2023 in Erfurt.

Under the motto Attracting skilled workers for the hydrogen economy and engineering professions - challenges and solutions, the 2023 annual event of the WIR! alliance h2-well hydrogen source and value creation region Main-Elbe-LINK, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, took place in the university city of Weimar.

Saskia Wagner successfully completed her master's degree with a presentation on June 19th, 2023.

On June 14th, 2023, the project partners met at Imaginata in Jena.

On June 12th, 2023, the partners of h2well-compact took a look at Linde's current fuel cell forklift trucks.

On June 5th, 2023, the kick-off meeting of the new h2-well project pho2zon "Electrolysis oxygen for use in wastewater treatment - elimination of micropollutants via ozonation and photocatalysis" took place. The participating project partners HySON gGmbH, Lynatox GmbH, MFPA Weimar and Wasserversorgungs- und Abwasserzweckverband Sonneberg as well as the Chair of Energy Systems met at the sewage treatment plant in Heubisch.
