In this episode of the Bauhaus.Podcast we will use the »Radiophonic Spaces« exhibition as a starting point for a look at radio and sound art at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. With the Chair of Experimental Radio, the Studio for Electroacoustic Music and the bauhaus.fm radio station, the university places a special emphasis on acoustics. In addition to an insight into the radio art exhibition, we present the »Digital Bauhaus Ensemble« in a podcast, accompany bauhaus.fm on a live broadcast with the »Medienkarre« and ask which projects our radio art alumni got involved with after their studies.
The »Radiophonic Spaces« exhibition will run until 19 September in the University Library of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. You can listen to 200 works from 100 years of radio art. Admission is free. More information about the exhibition is available at radiophonic.space and www.uni-weimar.de/radiophonicspaces
