Investigating the potential of alternative tools to design type and (typo)graphic forms: How is type design influenced by its tools? Can the use of alternative design tools provoke new forms?
While pixels and vectors prevail largely the day-to-day work of designers, the project »Type & Tools« intended to research the value of other, rather unconventional design methods under the direction of the former junior professor Stefanie Schwarz.
We are pleased that the »Page« reports on the project in its print edition of October 2022 and online at: https://page-online.de/branche-karriere/experimentelles-type-design-mit-alternativen-tools/
