New website for outstanding works: Faculty of Art and Design launches »B-A-D.cloud«
19 November 1993 marked the anniversary of the founding of our faculty, at that time still part of the »University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Weimar - University«. The then »Faculty of Design« began its education in the winter semester of 1993/94 with only one computer, one desk and 51 students. Now, 30 years later, we are giving you and ourselves a showcase to the world to mark our 30th anniversary: the »B-A-D.cloud«.
The results of the interplay in project work between design and realisation, thinking and doing, between head and hand, as well as the combination of theory and practice are expressed in the many outstanding student projects. These projects from the Faculty of Art and Design are now presented on their own website.
BAD, an acronym for »Bauhaus Art + Design«, stands for the continuous exploration of new paths and strategies for art, design, thinking, diversity, inclusion, fun and sustainable and socially relevant positions. Last but not least, our »BAD« stands for the real GOOD!
