In order to ensure the running of the faculty in the current semester and the following winter semester, the Faculty of Art and Design has developed a detailed hygiene concept in the last few weeks. This is based on the general hygiene plan (MdU 22/2020 – available in German language | accessible from the university network or with VPN connection) of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which is binding.
Extensive inspections and discussions took place in dialogue with the employees in the workshops and the safety officer of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The hygiene concept ha been submitted to the Presidium and is also being examined by the University's Staff Council. The final decision is expected next Wednesday, 17 June 2020.
The aim of the measures is to provide special support to students who are about to graduate. For this reason, the following premises were initially set in the hygiene plan of the Faculty of Art and Design:
Please note:
The current status does not mean that the rooms of the faculty can generally be reopened to students with the approval of the concept. As an ongoing process, the further development of hygiene measures will continue to accompany us in the near future.
For the use of student workrooms, the Faculty of Art and Design will follow a university-wide approach.
