Lara Weller has been awarded a scholarship for her Master's thesis »BetaWare« in the Design Campus Public Voting of the German Design Graduates.

Studierende der beiden Weimarer Hochschulen haben in einem »Bauhaus.Modul« ein multimediales Konzert entwickelt, das im Rahmen des FullDome Festivals anlässlich des 150. Jubiläums der Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT (HfM) zur Aufführung gebracht wird. Ausgangspunkt des Projektes waren Kompositionen für mehrere Klaviere von Franz Liszt und dessen in Nord- und Südamerika tätigem Zeitgenossen Louis Moreau Gottschalk (1829-1869).

The student-initiated and organised exhibition »Unter den Nägeln« (Under the Nails) shows current works by students from all disciplines of the Faculty of Art and Design at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. On three floors, it presents a total of 27 works by 29 artists from the fields of photography, film, sculpture, drawing, painting, installation, performance and audio from 27 April to 31 May 2022.

The best soapbox race on the planet Weimar is entering its 31st round. Traditionally held on 1 May, the event is once again allowed to let the boxes take to the starting line after a two-year pit stop. As in the last race in 2019, the brave racers will jet down Windmühlenstraße. As always, the much-coveted trophies in the "Style" and "Speed" categories await the participants.

For their documentary film »No Body and the Blue Sky«, Magda Gvelesiani (Visual Communication), Bela Moritz (Visual Communication) and Philiph Waltinger (Media Art and Design) were awarded in the category »Best Short Documentary« at the Kiez Berlin Film Festival.
