The fourth international Kultursymposium will once again be held in Weimar under the title "A Matter of Trust". From 10 to 12 May 2023, the Goethe-Institut will bring together exciting personalities from the fields of culture, science, business, media and politics, who will spend three days exchanging views on the multi-layered topic of trust in discussions, lectures, interactive workshops and artistic works. Students from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are also involved, enriching this year's festival programme with short films, radio contributions and a photographic postcard exhibition.

Unter dem Titel »Topological Atlas« hält die Architektin Nishat Awan vom UCL Urban Lab aus London den Auftaktvortrag in der Veranstaltungsreihe »erase Love«. Interessierte sind dazu am Mittwoch, 26. April 2023, 18 Uhr, herzlich ins Bauhaus-Museum Weimar eingeladen.

Die Alumni Samira Gebhardt und Andreas Grahl, die die Landesstipendien des Freistaats Thüringen 2022 erhalten hatten, präsentieren in der Ausstellung »REVERB« ihre aktuellen Arbeiten. Vom 21. April bis 18. Juni kann die Ausstellung im KunstForum Hannah Höch Gotha besucht werden. Am 23. Mai, 17 Uhr, findet eine Vernissage mit Katalogpräsentation statt.

Am Montag, 24. April 2023, 18.30 Uhr, dürfen wir die Illustratorin Bianca Schaalburg an der Fakultät Kunst und Gestaltung im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe »Salon Visuelle Kulturen« begrüßen. Interessierte sind herzlich willkommen!

im Sommersemester 2023 präsentiert Dr. Alexander Schwinghammer, Vertr.-Prof. für Kulturgeschichte der Moderne, die Vortragsreihe »Salon Visuelle Kulturen«. In diesem Semester geht es um (Auto-)Biographisches und historische Darstellungen in grafischen Erzählungen. Alle Interessierten sind herzlich eingeladen!

On 21 and 22 July 2023, the conference »Non-machines: Playground of Perspectives« will take place at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Interested parties from the fields of art, literature, philosophy and design, as well as activists and changemakers, are invited to participate in the open call. For the 32nd time, the students of the two Weimar universities, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT, are organising one of the annual highlights in Weimar.
