Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: Funding Opportunities

Take advantage of the various funding opportunities for your teaching, for example through supplementary tutorials, international teaching assignments, or didactical development supported by eTutors.

Furthermore, funding can be provided for the initiation and maintenance of university cooperations, the promotion of lecturer and staff mobility as well as support for international third-party funding applications.

Funding for Teaching and Learning

Funding programs relating to teaching and learning support teachers and staff members to develop innovative teaching/learning formats.

Funding for Art, Culture and Design

Art and design projects can be supported by the Kreativfonds or the Women's Promotion Fund. In addition, there are a large number of other grants from foundations and the federal government.

Funding for Research

Support for research projects is available through in-house funding opportunities, such as the Open Access Publication Fund, as well as through federal and state-funded funding formats.

Funding for Doctoral Candidates and Post-Docs

Doctoral projects can be supported by the Bauhaus and Equal Opportunity Doctoral Degree Scholarship and the STIBET Doctoral Degree Completion Scholarship. Further funding formats enable the support of doctoral students and post-docs.

Funding for Infrastructure

In order to enhance the international focus, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offers funding formats to enable teachers and staff members to gain experience abroad and to cooperate with international partners.
