The »Struktur- und Entwicklungsplan« (structure and development plan) defines the strategic development of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
STEP 2030 is our joint plan for the future of the university until 2030. It was submitted to the Thuringian Wissenschaftsministerium on July 1, 2024. On behalf of the Presidential Board, we would like to thank everyone involved in the STEP 2030 process!

The STEP 2019-2025 was approved at the Senate session of 03.04.2019. The University Council approved the 2019-2025 »Struktur- und Entwicklungsplan« at their session on 04.06.2019. The final version of the document (last updated on 12.02.2020) addresses the feedback provided by the Ministerium für Wirstschaft, Wissenschaft und Digitale Gesellschaft (TMBWK) and contains references to the »Leitlinien zur Hochschulentwicklung in Thüringen bis 2025«, as well as updated financial, personnel and appointment plans.

The »Leitlinien zur Hochschulentwicklung in Thüringen bis 2025« contain the Ministry’s goals for the structural development of the universities, including the state’s financial plans.
Universities submit their structure and development plans to the Ministry based on these guidelines.
