Project description

2014: Europe remembers the beginning of World War in 1914. This far-reaching jubilee is the point of origin for the exhibition at »marke.6« gallery, which asks for the nature of our present. 11 artists from Weimar took position with their artworks which addresses issues like sustainability and monument politics questions.

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue, which assembles all artworks and events. The texts were written by students from Weimar and Jena and were translated into English.
Through the conceptual design by Robin Weißenborn this handmade catalogue answers the question of “What remains” by itself.
