starting 1st April 2025.
'
Your Future Responsibilities:
The professorship’s responsibility is the investigation and the imparting of architecture focused on conversion and transformation. Within the advancement of the faculty’s teaching and research pro-file, the professorship is of heightened importance, since the analysis of pre-shaped situations and their respective characteristics call for new concepts of spatial design that need to be advanced in teaching and research. Hereby, a special emphasis is put on the design of individual spaces, particu-larly with regard to complex spaces with increased design requirements. In practice and theory, the professorship »Architectural Space and Design« will attend to the phenomenon of space created by building. The professorship is integrated into the degree programmes of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism; future interdisciplinary formats are conceivable. As a professor, you are actively en-gaging in the academic self-government and work collegially within the community.
Your Qualifications and Competences:
Our Offer to You:
Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offers excellent working conditions in a lively scientific and artistic environment, embedded in the outstanding living conditions in the city of culture Weimar. Addi-tionally, we support you with manifold advanced training and development opportunities.

The applicants for a shared professorship submit a joint application and enclose a joint concept for their collaboration. Both candidates must fulfil the recruitment requirements for the position.
