»Buy yourself a piece of Bauhaus« is the motto again on Saturday, 6 December 2025, when the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar invites you to the Christmas Market in the Mensa am Park.
Whether you are studying, working or have already graduated from the university - we look forward to seeing your creative ideas and products. The Bauhaus Christmas Market is the right place to present them in the right setting.
REGISTRATION - HOW IT WORKS
If you would like to take part with your products, you can register here with a stand by 19 November 2025 at the latest using the form below. Participation costs 30 euros per table for university students and 50 euros per table for employees or alumni. We have space for approx. 80 exhibitors (plus waiting list).

1. EVENT AREA AND TABLES
The market will take place on the upper floor of the Mensa. The tables we provide measure 1.20 x 0.70 m and have a smooth plastic surface.
2. SAFETY AND HYGIENE
Additional showcases, displays and decorative material must be securely erected or fastened and made of flame-retardant material.
3. ORGANISATION
a) Exhibition area
Please take care of the exhibition area during the Christmas Market. No posters, cards, jewellery or other items for sale or decoration may be hung on areas or walls that have not been explicitly made available.
b) Items for sale
Due to federal regulations for markets, there are restrictions on the items that can be sold. In case of non-compliance with these regulations, participation is unfortunately not possible.
According to § 56 GewO - Gewerbeordnung (Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act), it is not permitted to sell:

Please take note of this list when preparing your stand. In case of non-compliance with these regulations, participation in the Christmas Market is unfortunately not possible.
d) Set-up and Dismantling, Parking
Set-up is possible from 8 am on the day of the event and dismantling until 7 pm. Please use the exhibitors' car park for your vehicle. The university car park behind the Mensa with access via Beethovenplatz is available free of charge for exhibitors on Saturday. Access via Marienstraße or even short-term parking is not permitted.
Please set up your stands in good time – they should be ready by around 9.30 am so that we can welcome our visitors punctually at 10 am – and stay until the end.
e) Waste
We would also like to ask everyone to take their own rubbish to the rubbish container in the car park behind the Mensa at the end of the day.
4. PARTICIPATION FEE, PAYMENT AND WITHDRAWAL
Participation costs 30 euros per table for university students and 50 euros per table for employees or alumni. The participation fee includes a mandatory 19% VAT.
After registering, you will receive an automated confirmation of registration from us and later an acceptance or rejection of your participation. Once you have been accepted, you can transfer the participation fee as follows:
a) For businesses only – with invoice: Please indicate this when registering. You will then receive an invoice from us and can pay the fee to the account specified therein.
b) Without invoice: Please transfer your participation fee to account DE39 8205 0000 3004 4442 73 after receiving confirmation, making sure to include the reference ‘8290100075-5001’.
Your registration fee must be received by us no later than 3 days before the Christmas Market.
Should you wish to cancel your registration, please inform us immediately. We can then pass on your place to someone on the waiting list. If this is no longer possible, we will have to charge you the participation fee.
