Project description
This product is a sculpture and at the same time an outdoor furniture made of concrete, which can be put on the lawn at a park. STAY works like a room divider and creates an area, in which the park visitor can thoroughly enjoy the time in nature. The curved inner and outer surfaces with the appropriate angle provide the user with a comfortable backrest.
The main point of this project is that privacy in the park has been taken into account. To be more specific, a person can feel insecure in the wide open space at a park. This modular concrete furniture brings a new change in the use of the park by offering park users a private space and harmonization with nature with its beautiful curved surface.
The slightly curved shape subtly represents the user's private area. Privacy is protected by the height of the furniture, as it enables the users to remain partially unseen by other people. This can create a new way of leisure and culture that people can enjoy at a park.
