Project description
We are presenting a brief explanation of the AEC Global Teamwork Project participation in Stanford University. From the master course of Natural Hazards and Risks in Structural Engineering, Rohan Raj Das and Camila Ribellato Baldin have participated this year. The project was developed by the PBLlab of Stanford University, which uses the concept of project based learning. The project incorporates students from all over the world, in 5 different disciplines, architecture, structural engineering, MEP, construction management and life-cycle financial management. One of the biggest aspects of the project is the high technological approach. The use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual reality (VR), transforms a regular project into a collaborative and extraordinary project experience.
