Project description

For this years Summaery the Studio Wägetechnik will open its doors with invitation to our interdisciplinary working environment in Weimars Nordvorstadt, in aim to collectively come up, plan and construct a minigolfcourse together.

We are a small fellowship of students and graduates with our focus ranging in the different fields, from architecture, to graphic design, to media-art, to visual communication and product design, altogether sharing a working space, where in conjunction to our common day practices we aspire to expand activities towards interests like concerts, exhibitions, workshops - and now, this very particular minigolfcourse.

The golf course would be worked out and set up during the days before the summaery.

We wish everyone to see in this an appeal to open a cooperation, which extends an involvement between students alone, towards encouraging the entire family, pupils, the grandmother or the solitary, to take part all the same.

A Kiosk will supply our guests with cold drinks, coffee and cake.

Accompanying the minigolf a recycling workshop will take place on Saturday. The Kunststoffschmiede from Dresden will bring along their machinery to introduce us to some examples of possible processing techniques that allow a transformation of plastic rubbish to new forms of use. Participants can see and experience trash going through different steps of conversion, like grinding it up into small granulate, which can be injected into a mould.
