Discover the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s Degree Programmes During DIGITAL Open Campus Day (HIT) 2022
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will open its campus digitally for this year’s Open Campus Day (HIT) on Saturday, 5 March 2022 from 10 am to 3 pm. Prospective students are invited to discover what studying in Weimar is all about.
Which degree programme is the right fit for me? How does studying work under corona conditions? What can I expect in Weimar? Open Campus Day will help to answer all of these questions. Whether it’s during lectures or in direct livestream exchanges or chats, student advisors, instructors and staff from Studierendenwerk Thüringen will be on hand to provide general and subject-specific information on studying.
Following a welcoming statement from Prof. Dr. Christian Koch, Vice President of Student and Academic Affairs, and a presentation on the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, individual Bachelor’s and Master's degree programmes will be showcased in a series of sessions beginning at 11 am. For those interested in studying at one of our partner universities (located all around the world), the university’s Language Centre will be hosting a session at 12 pm on the possibilities for studying abroad. Studierendenwerk Thüringen will also be providing information starting at 2 pm on the costs, financing and housing aspects of student life.
Students, student advisors and staff from the Student Office will talk about their own personal experiences and answer questions about studying in Weimar during the virtual »Study Forum«, starting at 11 am. A digital tour of the university’s studios, workrooms and workshops will also provide an impression of what to expect on campus.
We invite all high school graduates, parents and prospective students, as well as those who have already completed their first degree to discover the range of courses offered at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. And it’s easy to join us from home — all you need is a stable internet connection and a laptop, desktop computer, tablet or smartphone.
