»The Mess with Tech, Sense and Thinking« – Students show installation at the transmediale 2016 in Berlin
Media Art students from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar present an installation in a »Hybrid Event« at the transmediale 2016 in Berlin.
A group of students from Berlin, Weimar and Szczecin will make different performative experiments at the transmediale 2016 in the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. More than 30 young artist present their current semester works under the title »The Mess with Tech, Sense and Thinking«.
The collective subject was the networked environment, media technology and social media. The question if personal decisions are influenced by this medial environment was in the focus of their works.
The project is the outcome of a collaboration between students from Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, weißensee art academy berlin and Art Academy, Szczecin. Initiated by Prof. Ursula Damm, Prof. Hannes Brunner and Mindaugas Gapševičius.
