Impressions of the Winterwerkschau 2022
On Friday, 4 February 2022, the three-day Winterwerkschau started its fifth edition. Under special pandemic conditions, the students of the Bauhaus.Module, who planned the event independently and on their own responsibility, realised a fantastic show. Up to 340 people were allowed to be present on location for the broadcast of two livestreams in the outdoor space of the campus under 2G+ regulations. There were detailed hygiene concepts for presence exhibitions.
The students of the Bauhaus.Module »Winterwerkschau 2022« under the direction of Tobias Kühn put on a very entertaining semester show. Especially the livestreams »WinterWerkShow« on Friday and Saturday made it possible for all those interested to gain deep insights into studying at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Two teams of moderators guided through an exciting programme of presentations, film screenings, interviews and musical contributions.
It should be emphasised that for the first time not only all four faculties of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar were called upon to participate in the show. Students from the FRANZ LISZT University of Music also enriched the programme – perhaps a cooperation that can also find a continuation in the upcoming annual show »summaery«. The musical contributions ranged from a bagpipe recital to a rousing concert by »The Kuba Combo« to DJ sets, which were largely mixed by female students – nice to see and hear so many women at the controls!
Our photographer Thomas Müller captured the first evening of the »Winterwerkschau« in pictures. Shortly, recordings of the livestreams will be available here and on the Winterwerkschau website at www.uni-weimar.de/winterwerkschau. A large number of the projects will continue to be presented digitally on our Winterwerkschau website.
