Ruinen der Moderne is an art installation made from the daily discarded objects
(“Sperrmüll”) from the neighborhood of Weimar-West.
Fading the limits between the sculptural quality of the objects and their innate
functionality, the idea is to question the bystander about the useful life of things and the pace of human consumption.
