This project provides an introduction to the planning and procurement of light rail projects, with particular focus on the involvement of private finance. It also aims at developing phased group work involving case studies, presentations, self-critical review, role play and discussion skills.

Understanding and reasoning of general business processes and their market interactions. Realisation of fundamental strategic and operative planning processes with market and resource oriented aspects.

Introduction to the general aspects of strategic, performance-improving and support processes of companies in civil engineering. Mediation of the strategic and marketing tools as well as new strategic positioning elements through cooperation, outsourcing and new business models. In addition, operative elements of organisation and of realisation and risk management as well as managing offers are discussed.
