The Geotechnical Engineering Knowledge Base is now available in its updated 20th edition, with an editorial deadline of March 2025, and can be obtained from the Geotechnical Engineering Department.

The GEO5+ workshop took place at TU Berlin from 23 to 24 June 2025.

The 5th International Symposium on Frontiers in Offshore Geotechnics (ISFOG) took place in Nantes from 9 to 13 June 2025.

As part of an excursion, a group from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar visited the Alte Messe construction site in Leipzig. The focus was on measures to improve the building ground beneath historic existing buildings.

On 19 and 20 February 2025, the numgeo Workshop 2025 took place at the Chair of Geotechnics at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. With over 50 participants from Germany and abroad, as well as from renowned industrial companies and research institutions, the workshop was a great success.
